New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) offers the Defence Community the New Zealand Defence Force KiwiSaver Scheme and the New Zealand Defence Force FlexiSaver Scheme. The Defence Force Superannuation Scheme is closed to new members. 

Who can join New Zealand Defence Force Savings Schemes?

All members of the New Zealand Defence Force and members of the Defence Community have access to the New Zealand Defence Force KiwiSaver Scheme and the New Zealand Defence Force FlexiSaver Scheme.

You are in the Defence Community if you are a member of the New Zealand Defence Force (past or current), a Veteran, or a partner, child or close relative of current or past NZDF members.

  • Investment reports published monthly on this website.
  • The Annual Report, provides a review of each year and a full update on investment performance.
  • Personalised Annual Statements are distributed in May/June each year
  • Our digital newsletters, including Investment Insights videos, provides the latest information about NZDF Savings Schemes and ideas to help you grow your investment.
